Noticing the Unnoticed - study of water

Water is something to be celebrated.

This assemblage holds small, lively gestures of care and humour. A forgotten ice tray becomes a vessel. A small health drink bottle, found in everyday ritual, fits perfectly. Inside, water supports life: a living spring onion continues to grow while a plastic goldfish swims alongside it.

The form began to resemble a lifeboat like those that go out into the sea that lies in front of my studio saves lives.

What we find in the sea and its surroundings is both curious and revealing. Among the elements are used nuclear pipe cleaning ball, found on the beach.

We all need water, but what kink of water are we living with?

Hear, water drips, evaporates, nourishes, and disappears quietly, often without being noticed.
